About

I’m a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Google working on Perfetto, an open source suite of tools for performance tracing and analysis. I joined Perfetto as a founding engineer in 2017 and have been part of the project ever since.

I’m passionate about performance, open-source and especially the intersection of those two domains. I’m also generally interested in AI/LLMs and how they are changing the software engineering industry.

Some highlights in my past:

  • I’ve given two public talks:
  • I published papers on formal verification of neural networks, which have collectively been cited over 500 times.
  • I contributed to Android custom ROMs like CyanogenMod and OmniROM, mainly on device bringup of budget Android devices. I also worked as an informal contractor for Sony on AOSP device bringup.
  • I wrote several open source Android apps and libraries, the most successful being an IRC client called HoloIRC.
